Hello...My name is Carol Ann Williams and I am an Education Specialist at Keith McCarthy Academy. I am extremely excited to be teaching at this wonderful school, where the people are as warm as the climate!!! I am originally from Northern California, but moved to sunny Southern California to attend San Diego State University. I married, had four children and went back to school at Cal State San Marcus, where I received my BA in Human Development, my Multiple Subject Credential, my Education Specialist M/M/S credential, and my MA in Education. My experience as an educator spans about 27 years. I started out as a Title I Aide, obtained my Multiple Subject with CLAD credential and taught first, second and third grade. I then worked as a Reading Teacher and realized my desire to assist students with exceptional needs. I returned to school, to obtain my Education Specialist M/M/S credential and taught as an RSP/SDC teacher in K-3rd, 4-6th and 7-8th grade. I received my MA in Education, completing a large portion online. This is my fourteenth year teaching Special Education at KMA and I love the online format, where our students are flourishing! There are many things I love to do and most, if not all are done at the beach or near the water.
