Clarification regarding e-Cigarettes, VAPE Pens, etc.
E-cigaette, VAPE Pens, etc. are not permitted on campus or at school sponsored functions for any reason because they are identified as paraphernalia.
This means even if a student is in possession of the package that says it does not contain nicotine, it does not matter. The device itself is not allowed on campus or at school sponsored functions. Any student found to be in possession of one of these items is in violation of California Education Code 48900 (j) and is subject to appropriate discipline.
