Welcome to Keith McCarthy Academy! 

Thank you for taking this opportunity to visit our school's website.  Our focus at KMA is to meet the needs of the alternative education student by offering quality teachers and coursework in a variety of settings. Our programs allow for students to come to school when they need additional help, guidance, or a quiet, safe, and respectful environment to complete their work!  Keith McCarthy provides a flexible schedule for students that have needs and goals that a traditional schedule might not allow.

Keith McCarthy Academy has been WASC certified and offers coursework that has been granted CSU / UC A-G status as well as NCAA course approval.  This validates the curriculum and instruction the students receive while attending our school and allows our students to earn credits towards any post-secondary program they choose to pursue. We are extremely proud of our school’s accomplishments.

We have amazing teachers and support staff who are here to serve your student and meet their needs. Our goal is to always ensure that our students receive a quality education that can open doors to the next stage of their lives beyond high school. We strive to offer these programs with the same level of rigor as offered by the comprehensive high schools and to improve on our graduation rates as our enrollment continues to increase each  year.  KMA prides ourselves and finding ways to maximize an individual's potential, be it in sports (students at KMA can still participate in sports at their home school), interests (KMA students are eligible to take elective courses at their home campuses), or academics pursuits (students can take classes at an accelerated pace, graduate early, or even take college courses for free) while enrolled at Keith McCarthy Academy.
